Densitron To Highlight “Reliable and Robust” Control & Display Solutions at MEDICA 2022

CRAWLEY, UK, 1 November 2022: Densitron, the global leader in display, touch-based interfaces and specialised ODM+ outsourced product design and development for manufacturers, has announced its plans to exhibit at the international medical technology trade fair MEDICA 2022, Düsseldorf, 14-17 November. Densitron will use its presence at the show (Hall 14 Stand B54) to showcase its control surfaces, tactile technology solutions and flagship Intelligent Display System (IDS) for a host of demanding medical applications.

Underlining medical’s status as one of its largest markets, Densitron is bringing a comprehensive selection of its latest products to MEDICA 2022. Throughout the show, the company will highlight the features and capabilities that have made its solutions popular throughout the medical world, including the use of optical bonding to enhance readability and remove reflections and the inclusion of industrial components to ensure reliability, longevity, and availability of parts. Densitron also undertakes stringent QC checks to avoid pixel defects, provides full ‘glove touch’ touchscreen operation, and includes an antibacterial coating on its touchscreens.

From the popular UReady control surface series, Densitron will showcase the complete range. MEDICA visitors will also have the chance to see the latest TFT display with capacitive touch solutions and its range of HDMI and USB-based products providing a single cable connection for power and signals.

The continuing demand for instant physical feedback has made Densitron’s Tactile Technologies range a notable success across multiple fields, including Medical. The popular Tactila Evaluation Kit makes it easier for manufacturers and customers to evaluate rotary knobs and other tactile controls for incorporation into specific solutions and applications. At MEDICA, the evaluation kit will be part of a full ‘touchnology’ demo, including a touchscreen, rotary knobs and buttons.

The continuing demand for instant physical feedback has made Densitron’s Tactile Technologies range a notable success across multiple fields, including Medical.

Similarly geared towards saving vendors valuable time, the newly launched Haptics module is designed to be used in conjunction with medium-sized touchscreens. The latest addition to Densitron’s acclaimed range of haptics solutions, the Haptics module allows vendors to incorporate feedback sensations that can be profiled and localised on the display area.

The Intelligent Display System (IDS) is Densitron’s global flagship solution and is ideal for medical environments, where applications include use by a remotely located operator to access and control operating theatre cameras. At MEDICA, IDS will be showcased via the latest TS10.1, which is an integrated IDS touchscreen featuring enhanced graphics and integrations with solutions from camera control partners BirdDog and Polecam.

Chris Goodhall, Sales & Operations Director EMEA at Densitron, comments: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at MEDICA 2022, which is an enormously important event for the global medical technology sector. Medical has been a significant and growing part of our business for many years, with our ability to provide robust, reliable and user-friendly solutions resonating with organisations in the public and private sectors. Our latest developments in tactile products and haptics underline our scope in catering to the full range of control requirements, and we look forward to introducing many of these innovations to MEDICA attendees next month.”
